Solid Mechanics Fellow
- Samuel Forest : for his outstanding contributions to metallurgy and mechanics of materials, based on original models coupled with innovative and powerful numerical methods. Samuel est Directeur de Recherches au CNRS (Centre des Matériaux MINES Paristech)
En 2015 : Pierre Ladevèze, en 2012 : Jean-Baptiste Leblond, en 2006 : Olivier Allix, l'ont précédé
Fluid Mechanics Fellow
- Jean-Marc Chomaz : for his profound contributions to non-linear stability theory, stratified flows and vortex dynamics, with special mention of his leading role in education and in the promotion of Fluid Mechanics in Arts and Society, communicating the beauty of fluid dynamical phenomena. Il est professeur à l'Ecole Polytechnique
- Laurette Tuckerman : in recognition of her major contributions to chaotic dynamical systems and transitional turbulence via theory and the development of numerical tools, highlighting complex bifurcation scenarios.
