1964 : PhD Université de l'Illinois "Some integral equation methods for plane problems of classical elastostatics"
1966 : professeur de mécanique à l'université de Kensington jusqu'en 1987
1987 : directeur du département aéronautique de l'université de l'Iowa
2000 : départ en retraite. Professeur émérite
2020 : décès le 11 avril à Ames,
